Who Am I? Julie Buckley, British gal. Everyone calls me Jules. I began my event planning in Boston where, for six years, I worked for one of the city’s leading destination management companies and this is where I developed my event planning and production skills. My life has now taken me slightly south and I am now (also) event planning in Connecticut.
How Do I Work? I work to take away all the stresses and time pressures associated with planning an event so my client can relax, enjoy the event and still look like a star. It’s important for me to make sure my clients get what they really want, so I listen carefully to their vision and needs, provide honest advice and appropriate direction throughout the planning process, and pay attention to every element of the event from the biggest ideas to the smallest details. And I love coordinating the event the day of, working with the team of chosen vendors to the event to life. When you work with me you will find I always have a calm demeanor and a sense of humor – which is why working with me is fun and stress-free!
What Rocks My World? Let’s see…..traveling the world experiencing different cultures and having fun adventures; sailing with friends on a sunny day; shoe shopping, Fashion Police, fish tacos, 80s music. And of course, my husband, Tim, and our chocolate lab, Chloe, who make me smile every day.
